Walking distance to House of Danar Hadi collection museum. The staff were friendly and tried to help throughout.

Some renovations needed as the room and bathroom felt a little bit old and the towels definitely needs to be replaced.

Almost everything. All's perfect. Except that I think room amenities could be improved. A bar soap, however small, is still needed, for simple things like shaving or washing hands, for instance. But other than this, everything is fantastic. It's a rather old hotel, but the comfort that it offers is worth the money.

In addition to the absence of bar soap on the amenities list, the size is the mineral bottle is too small. There are two in the room, which should have been adequate if only the bottle's size were a little bigger.

the location is great, in the city center so its near to reach the Solo's main attraction. The room is spacious, esp after I got an upgrade :). The staffs are all very friendly and helpfull.

You can skip the breakfast buffet, not worth it. The taste is so so and the coffee is terrible.

The breakfast is not what I expected. The food wasnt that good. The mukena that I borrowed was a little bit dirty.

Oh Novotel Solo, you were almost taken out from our family vacation list... I was the one who planned the family trip (10 of us) and recommended you based on our past experiences staying with you. I wish I could impress my relatives about you but sad to say, it almost embarrassed me myself. Upon taking breakfast, no seats available for us, and the guy who greeted us in the restaurant just suggested us to take the "cafe". That "cafe" was dark, and he expected us to stay there??? When I asked whether he could turn on the light he said nothing and doing nothing. Are you sure with your staff management? I and my family have stayed here for several times and had put you in our a-list property, but this last one is too horrible! Please don't give the crap "we are full" thing!! You have known how many guests you were expecting, the seats capacity and such, but we had to wait for our seats by making other guests feeling uncomfortable?? shall the other guests (and we ) have the luxury of comfortable and cozy breakfast? We have to wait quite a long time to put something in our plates because almost empty and refilling it was like "eternity" What about clearing up the table experience? we did it by ourselves! Looking for knives and forks? we looked it by our self! What about the easy to greet and smile security? I'd rather try to forget those faces!! and last, what kind of engineering you hired to keep that very load humming noise when tapping out hot water from the head shower??

Room is spacious and some furniture inside room is already updated. Breakfast just ok. Location is perfect to go around the city.

Swimming pool area is a bit outdated and not clean enough. No guards at the swimming pool area so we have to make a phone call to front office to ask for towels.

Location.

1. Food was overall good and tasty however it’s always taking too long at the coffee shop and room service. FB staff needs more training in service at their coffee shop (right cutlery, welcome bread, water). 2. Rooms floor was not cleaned properly - bathroom shower screen and soap tray was dirty (soap scums). Wash basin was dull and not clean properly. 3. All towels were not White anymore but off white, shouldn’t be used for guests. 4. Swimming pool was very uninviting, the pool water was rather cloudy not clean looking, the area look unattended - I was very disappointed with the condition for an Accor hotel (?). 5. Air conditioning in the lobby and coffee shop were not cooling at all. I will not be back there again. The hotel needs revamping both internal and external and improve the service. Good luck!

Very central and strategic location. Beautiful entrance hall. laundry service fast and good (expensive).

pool was very quiet and not inviting to stay. hotel has a band playing in a cold ac room every night, but did not attract me enough. amazing menu card but what was delivered was disappointing; also the knowledge of the waiter to answer some questions in advance. better try out other restaurants (e.g. kayu manis).

The service is good. The staff are polite.

The bathroom is run down, it needs to be renovated urgently. The towels and bed sheets are very old (can be seen from the color), they need to be replaced with the new one (not they are not clean, but just too old)

Breakfast was very nice. Hotel bar had live music, good place to stay for a drink. Very reasonable price for drinks.

Toilet seat was broken, and couldn't get with no possibility get water out of the shower. So ended up washing at the sink. Interior is very old. Went out on Saturday from 7am till 3.30pm, still the room wasn't made up. And ofcourse, while I put DND-sign on the door for taking a shower (which didn't work), I got a note that cleaning staff noticed the DND sign. So during my stay (Fri till Sun), room wasn't made up at all, no supply of water, no supply of coffee. As a platinum member (stayed in Accor Hotels over 500 nights in the last 3 years), I am heavily disappointed and for sure, will never return to Novotel in Solo.
